1817 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Grand Master, dated October 4, 1817, for the opening of a Lodge in the town of Wellsburg, Brooke county, by the name of the Wellsburg Lodge, appointing John Klein, Master; Stephen Clayton, Senior Warden; James H. Moore, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned, and a copy of the proceedings thereunder, on motion,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Wellsburg Lodge, No.
108, appointing the said brethren officers thereof, who are named in said dispensation.
1828 Proceedings: Whereas, it has been represented to the Grand Lodge, that Lodge No. 108 has lost its Charter.
Resolved, therefore, That the Grand Secretary do renew the Charter of said Lodge, upon the payment of the fee for the same.
