Confirmed Chartered as "Solomon No. 30" on 10/29/1790. Confirmed revived on 12/16/1812. 1790 Proceedings: Resolved, That a Charter be granted Brothers Step. C. Grayham, J. ITodges, Benj. Bartlett and others, inhabitants in and near the town of Suffolk and county of Nansemond, to hold a Lodge in the said town of Suffolk, under the designation of the Solomon Lodge, No. 30; and the Grand Secretary is hereby directed to provide and deliver the same. 1812 Proceedings: It being made a question what sum would be received by the Grand Lodge in discharge of all arrearages due by Solomon’s Lodge, No. 30, on motion, Resolved, That on the payment of forty dollars, in discharge of arrearages, Solomon’s Lodge, No. 30, be permitted to recommence its labors, and that, in order to carry into effect the recommencement, a renewal of their old charter be granted, and that Brother Matthias Jones be therein appointed Master; James Riddick, Senior Warden; and Arthur Smith, Junior Warden.
