Confirmed chartered 12/13/1820. 1820 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Deputy Grand Master, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in the town of Danville, in the county of Pittsylvania, by the name of the Danville Lodge, under date of the 30th October, 1820, appointing John B. Roy, Master; Stokeley F. Foster, Senior Warden; and Tho's W. White, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation being returned, and an application for a charter, on motion, Resolved, That a charter do issue for the establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Roman Eagle Lodge, No. 122, appointing the same brethren officers thereof who are named in the said dispensation.
