Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master, to authorise the opening a Lodge at Jonesville, in the county of Lee, by the name of Preston Lodge, appointing Loving K. Tyler, W. Master, W. S. Morison, Senior Warden, and Jacob V. Falkerson, Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned, together with the necessary documents:
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Preston Lodge, No. 47, appointing the same Officers as named in the Dispensation.
