Confirmed chartered on 01/09/1838.
Whereas, the Right Worshipful Deputy Grand Master did issue Dispensation for the opening a Lodge in Stevensburg, in the county of Culpeper, by the name of Phoenix Lodge, appointing Ferdinand Luckett, Master, Henry Wharton, Senior Warden, John J. Rieke Junior Warden; and said Dispensation being returned, together w the necessary documents,
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Phoenix Lodge No 154 appointing the officers as named in the said warrant.
Editor: Presuming District 12 as that is where other Culpeper Lodges fall. No mention in 1838 Proceedings.
