Confirmed chartered on 12/13/1842. The number of Lexington Lodge No. 25, transferred to the Grand Lodge of Kentucky, was reissued. Editor: Presuming District 1 based on location, but not in the Grand Lodge records.
Whereas, a Dispensation was issued during recess, by the M. W. Grand Master, to authorise the opening and holding a Lodge at Carrsville, Isle of Wight county, by the name of Mt. Olivet Lodge, No. 25, appointing Francis M. Boykin, Master; Josiah W. Jordan, S Warden; and Nathaniel P. Young, Junior Warden.
And said Dispensation being returned, accompanied by the necessary documents:
Resolved, 'That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge by the name, title and designation of Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 25, appointing the same officers as named in the Dispensation.
Editor: In the same year, 1842, the existing Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 113 was made active again in Wood county, (later) West Virginia.
