1818 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Grand Master, dated May 1, 1818, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in Parkersburg, Wood county, and the said dispensation having been returned, on motion,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of a Lodge in the town of Parkersburg, aforesaid, by the
name of Mount Olivet Lodge, No. 113, appointing the following brethren officers thereof, viz: Elias Gates, Master; Oliver Phelps,
Senior Warden; and Alexander H. Creel, Junior Warden.
1831 Proceedings: Listed as dormant.
1842 Proceedings: Whereas, a Dispensation was issued during recess, by the M. W. and Master, to authorise the opening and holding a Lodge at Parkersburg, Wood county, by the name of Acacia Lodge, No. --- appointing John Cunningham, Master; Henderson H. Phelps, S. Warden, and Beverly Smith, J. Warden.
And said Dispensation being returned, accompanied by the necessary documents and a petition to change the name and number by the revival of Mt. Olivet Lodge, No. 113:
Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the revival and establishment of said Lodge, by the name, title and designation of Mt. Olivet Le No. 113, appointing the same officers as named in the dispensation.
Editor: In the same year, 1842, a new Mt. Olivet Lodge No. 25 was established in Isle of Wight county.
