1811 Proceedings: A dispensation having been issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in Shepherdstown, in the county of Berkeley, by the name of Mount Ararat Lodge, appointing Presley Marmaduke, Master; Richard Clagget, Senior Warden; and John Blackford, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation having been returned with a copy of the proceedings had thereunder, and an application for a charter,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of Mount Nebo Lodge, No. 91,
appointing the same persons officers thereof who are named in the said dispensation.
1831 Proceedings: Listed as dormant.
1836 Proceedings: Whereas the late members of Mt. Nebo Lodge, No. 91, petitioned for a revival of their Lodge during the recess of the Grand Lodge and whereas the Most Worshipful Grand Master did, by a dispensation, bearing date 24th March last, authorize the said brethren to resume their labors, which dispensation they have now returned, and accompanied with a return of their Lodge, in regular form, praying that they may be set permanently to work,
Resolved, That the members of Mt. Nebo Lodge, No. 91, which has been dormant for several years, be authorized and permitted to elect their officers, and permanently revive their labors, by paying to this Grand Lodge the sum of $20 in full of all arrearages and duet up the the present Grand Annual Communication included.
