Confirmed chartered 12/11/1823 in District 13. A petition from sundry Brethren residing in or near the town of Warrenton, in Fauquier County, praying for a Charter to establish a Lodge in said town, accompanied by a recommendation of Lodge, No. 43. On motion, Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the establishment of a Lodge in the said town by the name of Mount Carmel Lodge No. 133, and that Edward E. Cooke, be appointed Master, Robert Brent, Senior Warden and Richard Thompson, Junior Warden. Resolved, That Monroe Lodge, No. 129, be assigned to District 12; Montgomery Harmony Lodge, No. 130, to District No. 13; Amelia Washington Lodge, No. 131, to District No. 9; Mount Carmel Lodge, No. 133, to District No. 13; and Eureka Lodge, No 134, to District No. 10. 1838 Proceedings: Listed as dormant. 1846 Proceedings: Whereas, a Dispensation was issued by the M. W. Grand Master to authorise the revival of Mount Carmel Lodge No. 133, appointing --- Master, --- Senior Warden, and --- Junior Warden. Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the permanent establishment of the said Lodge, and appointing the same officers as named in the Dispensation, upon the payment of ten dollars in full of arrearages exclusive of the Grand Secretary's fees.
