1823 Proceedings: A petition from sundry Brethren residing in Christiansburg, county of Montgomery, praying for a Charter to establish a Lodge in said Town, accompanied by a recommendation of Lodge, No. 55, filed |with the returns of said Lodge, were received.
On motion, Resolved, That a Charter do issue for the establishment of a Lodge in the said Town, by the name of Montgomery
Harmony Lodge, No. 130, and that Lewis Amiss, be appointed Master, Jacob Cook, Senior Warden, and Creed Taylor, Junior Warden.
Resolved, That Monroe Lodge, No. 129, be assigned to District 12; Montgomery Harmony Lodge, No. 130, to District No. 13;
Amelia Washington Lodge, No. 131, to District No. 9; Mount Carmel Lodge, No. 133, to District No. 13; and Eureka Lodge, No 134, to District No. 10.
1824 Proceedings: Resolved, That Temple of Virtue Lodge No. 155, be assigned to District No. 5; Equality Lodge No. 136, to District No. 14; Lafayette Lodge No. 137, to District No. 12; and that Louisa Lodge No. 58, now attached to District No. 12, be assigned to District No. 6; and Montgomery Harmony Lodge. No. 130, now attached to District No. 13, be assigned to District No. 15.
