1796 Proceedings: Resolved as the opinion of the committee, That a Charter may issue to them, appointing James William Matthews, Master; John Matthews, Senior Warden, and John Brown, Junior Warden, to hold a regular Lodge in the town of Louisburg, in the county of Greenbrier, designated and to be known by the name of the Greenbrier Lodge, No. 49.
1821 Proceedings: Resolved, That Greenbrier Lodge, No. 49, which stands suspended, for having for three years, failed to send representatives to the Grand Lodge and to pay its contributions to the grand charity fund, be for reasons appearing to the Grand Lodge, reinstated.
Several resolutions having for their objects the alteration of the regulations of this Grand Lodge, were offered, seconded and referred to the grand committee.
On motion,
Resolved, That thirty dollars be received in full discharge of all arrearages to this Grand Lodge by Lodge No. 49.
