1806 Proceedings: Whereas, a dispensation was issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Master, dated April 7th, 1806, to authorize the opening of a Lodge in the county of Mecklenburg, by the name of the Franklin Lodge; appointing Henry Patillo, Master; Francis Gregory, Senior Warden; and Robert Chapell, Junior Warden; and the said dispensation having been returned, and the proceedings had thereunder,
Resolved, That a charter do issue for the permanent establishment of said Lodge, by the name of the Franklin Lodge, No. 77;
appointing Francis Gregory, Master; Signal Abernathy, Senior Warden; and West Gregory, Junior Warden.
1828 Proceedings: Listed as dormant.
1836 Proceedings: Resolved, That the right and title to the furniture, jewels, &c. Franklin Lodge, No. 77, be vested in Fitzwhylsonn Lodge, No 152, upon their paying to the Grand Treasurer the sum of five dollars
