Confirmed chartered 12/15/1802 as "Hay Market Lodge, No. 67" in Prince William county. Changed in 1820 to Centerville. Assigned to District 13 in 1820.
1802 Proceedings: The petition presented by Brother John H. Peyton, signed by several respectable brethren, with a recommendation and certificate from Lodge No. 50, praying for a charter to constitute a Lodge in the town of Hay Market, in the county of Price William, was taken up; on which,
Resolved, That a charter do issue, appointing James Wiggington, Master; John W. Wiggington, Senior Warden; and William
Shaw, Junior Warden; to establish a Lodge in the place aforesaid, by the name of the Hay Market Lodge, No. 67.
1820 Proceedings: On the motion of the representative of Lodge No. 67, Resolved, That the name of the said Lodge, be changed from “Hay Market Lodge,” to that of “Centreville Lodge,” Fairfax county.
1826 Proceedings: On motion, Resolved, That the Officers and Members of Centerville Lodge, No. 67, working under the Charter of said Lodge, declared dormant in 1824, by the resolution of this Grand Lodge, be cited to appear before a Committee to be appointed by the Grand Master, to show cause, if any they can, why the Officers and Members of said Lodge shall not be expelled for unmasonic conduct.
