Allied Masonic Degrees

Allied-Masonic-Degrees-A-M-D.jpgThe Allied Masonic Degrees (AMD) are a series of Masonic degrees conferred by Councils of the Allied Masonic Degrees. The Allied Masonic Degrees form an appendant order of Freemasonry that exists in some Masonic jurisdictions; its degrees are conferred only by invitation.

In Virginia, you must be a member of a Royal Arch Chapter in good standing. AMD Councils meet four times a year, conferring one or more of the degrees on their members, and presenting one or two research papers.

Virginia Research Lodge actively supports all Masonic research bodies. To this end, we are offering a free web site for any AMD Council in Virginia. Please email us to get started.
